Feeling a need to express my gratitude for the many healings...
Feeling a need to express my gratitude for the many healings I have had as a student of Christian Science, I want to share a healing of facial paralysis.
To my great dismay, one day I saw that one side of my face and mouth were badly out of place and one eyelid was not fully functioning. I began to pray almost without ceasing. Despite the outward appearance, I was able, through my prayers, to subdue fear. The liberating power of divine Love was one of the first thoughts that came to me. I knew that discord of any sort must yield to God, omnipotent Mind, which is supreme.
I also gained much inspiration from understanding God as the only source of action. It became clear to me that matter could not impede the activity and freedom that were mine in my true spiritual nature as the image of God, Spirit.
