I am truly grateful for the many blessings that Christian Science has brought to me and my family. I would like to share two healings that are very special to me.
We had just completed a cross-country move with our toddler into our new home. Soon after that I developed a heavy cold and had difficulty breathing. As the week wore on and breathing became more difficult, I called the practitioner who was praying for me and told her that I feared I was going to die. I will never forget the practitioner's absolute conviction as she assured me that God's man cannot die and that I could rise above this false belief and discern more of my true being as God's perfect child.
That proved to be the turning point. I realized that I had been feeling a heavy sense of false responsibility regarding our move and I had been trying to force things to work out the way I thought they should. As I let go of this false sense and trusted God's supreme control, the physical difficulty began to abate. My husband had remained home that week to care for our son and me, but by the beginning of the next week he returned to work. The full healing soon followed.
