Content can't be loaded!
Is work a drudgery to get over with or a slavery to escape? Something to avoid or at least to slide by on the way to the real joys of life?
Sometimes we may feel it's easier to stay on the sidelines of life than to get involved. But when we realize that Spirit, not personal energies, is what impels action, life is worth the effort.
The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

, Christian Science is simple, but to be a Christian Scientist is not an easy option, nor is it easy to be a practicing Christian of any denomination.
It was only a small dispute with a friend. But the healing taught a larger lesson about the power of divine Love.
Spiritual healing is natural and effective—as one young girl's experience illustrates.
Is health just the absence of illness? Or is God's will constantly moving us in the direction of well-being?

Many
years ago Christian Science came into my life at a time when my small son was suffering attacks of epilepsy.
It is time that I acknowledge in writing the blessings that have come to me through the study and practice of Christian Science.
Some of the dearest memories of my childhood were of sitting in my grandmother's bedroom, studying the Bible Lesson outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly.
Several years ago I had a special experience that proved the efficacy of these words.
I am truly grateful for the many blessings that Christian Science has brought to me and my family.
