For children
Real treasure
Amanda and her friends Jenny and Kelly like to pretend there's secret treasure in the backyard. Sometimes they even hide make-believe jewels in the grass or by the swing set. Then they can find them later.
Once Amanda learned about other kinds of treasure. She was doing a trick on the couch at Kelly's house and banged her chin and teeth hard. Amanda began to cry and wanted her mom to come for her.
When Mom came to pick her up, Amanda was still crying. She was afraid, too, because Kelly's mom had told her she might have hurt her teeth badly.
