Christian Science healing today

The Bible says of Christ Jesus, "And they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments ...; and he healed them."^{Matt. 4:24.}

Jesus gave his disciples "power ... to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease."^{Matt. 10:1.} The Church of Christ, Scientist, was founded to reinstate the element of healing practiced by Christ Jesus. And current testimonies bear witness that many modern Christian disciples are demonstrating through Christian Science practice that the healing and saving energy of Christ, Truth, is undiminished.

The special joys of editing the Christian Science periodicals include the opportunity to review the hundreds of testimonies of metaphysical healing that flow into our department annually from around the world. All of the testimonies—including those not chosen for publication—evidence that divine Science is the living revelation of God. They show that this eternally God-imparted revelation is also infinitely God-sustained. Its system of healing—revealed to Mrs. Eddy and, through her authorship of Science and Health, shared with all mankind—remains as fully demonstrable now as it proved to be in Bible times.
