With all the attention being focused in the media on prevention of drug abuse, it seems an appropriate time to share a healing that I had some years ago. I can testify from firsthand experience that Christian Science offers genuine and complete freedom from drug abuse.
For some years before finding Christian Science, I had used several different drugs. There were times when I would mix these with alcohol to the point of becoming unable to care for myself at all. There were also periods of time when I took drugs daily. I had tried to quit using drugs but never seemed able to be free from the desire for them and would always return to them.
When I began the study of Christian Science, my desire to be free from drugs grew. Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy states (p. 583): "Church. The structure of Truth and Love; whatever rests upon and proceeds from divine Principle.
