In gratitude for the many testimonies I have read and from which I have benefited, I offer my own.

Christian Science came into my life when I was about four years old. At that time I was healed of a cyst at the back of my knee. I attended the Christian Science Sunday School until I was twenty, when I happily joined a branch church and later The Mother Church.

In Science and Health Mrs. Eddy writes (p. 540): "The muddy river-bed must be stirred in order to purify the stream." Little did I realise, as a new church member, how much stirring this teaching would do in my life. But I am grateful because each healing experience has caused me to grow in the realisation that there is only one Mind, one God, governing the universe and man. The path forward has not been an easy one, but has been more blessed than I could possibly have imagined.
