I love them all, except Mr. So-and-So
[Original in French]
"Now I've reached the point where I love all politicians, except Mr. So-and-So," said our friend, satisfied with the progress she had made but regretting the exception. Her statement led me to ask myself just what it means to love such and such a cabinet member or senator, and how far along I was in that regard. Of course such questions can be applied to our feelings about all people, and not only to those holding political office.
Are there really exceptions to loving our neighbors?
