Most of us would agree...

Most of us would agree peace is a great idea. It has been for centuries!
But now it is clear humanity has to live the idea. In a nuclear age there is really no alternative. And millions of people are making a greater effort than ever before in history to wage peace. The extent of the personal sacrifice, the intelligence and the love being poured out, is something new.
This issue of the Sentinel contributes articles, comment, and editorials to this worldwide discussion and growing sense of possibility in regard to peace. It shares the primary thing that Christian Scientists have to give—their conviction and deep spiritual experience that peace comes from God. Peace is not only a great idea, it is a divine idea. It is God's message to mankind. And therefore it is an idea strong enough to change our times.
