Never forget what manner of man you are
[Name withheld by request]
Do you feel trapped in a particular life style, limited by the very things you thought would make you free and happy? Well, then, it is time to look into the law of liberty. In this law lies your deliverance.
A Bible passage says, "Whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed."
What is this perfect law of liberty? It is God's law, which governs His man. It is the mirror into which we can look to see God's man, our true self. The preceding Bible verses refer to one who hears God's Word but doesn't do it. We are told that such a one is like a man who sees "his natural face in a glass" but when he goes away, immediately forgets what he looks like. See James 1:23–25.
