Spiritual resistance gives you immunity

The fear that one may be deficient or lacking in immunity to disease—that one might be helplessly taken over by it—is a fear no one needs to accept. Yet, sadly, many do accept predictions of suffering and loss when they think they have no choice. Frightening verdicts may appear inescapable. Some may conclude that all they can do is accept limiting sicknesses and hope for some peace in this acceptance.

To try to reconcile oneself to sickness isn't an answer. An answer of hope can be found, though, in reconciling ourselves to the Bible's promise of healing.

If the suggestion is strong that an individual has little resistance (to disease or to any other form of evil), the last thing the individual should do is resign himself to that suggestion! Christian healing is a form of righteous, spiritually impelled rebellion against cruel and unjust impositions—as Christ Jesus' healing works prove. God is all-powerful good! Why should we offer no fight to a lie that says His creation is helpless and can be taken over by evil? As we realize that we are actually the man of God's creating, expressing His power, we see there is no circumstance or condition that can make us susceptible to or defenseless against anything harmful, including disease. And it's our right to prove this through spiritual growth and regeneration.
