The following healing is one that has meant much to me over many years as a milestone in my spiritual growth.
When I was a young woman, I had frequent painful headaches, so I always kept some aspirin handy. I was reared in an atmosphere of dependence on medicine, as my father was a physician and surgeon.
When I married I began to learn something of Christian Science. (My husband and his family are Scientists.) Gradually I became interested enough to study it in earnest. The aspirin and other medicines were finally all thrown out, and I took a stand for relying entirely on God for healing. I later joined a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and The Mother Church, and took class instruction in Christian Science. It was a time of tremendous inspiration and learning. However, the headaches kept recurring.
