I would like to express my gratitude to God...
I would like to express my gratitude to God for bringing Christian Science into my life.
I came from a family where there was much sickness, and I myself had one physical problem after another. When I had been married a short while, my feet began giving me a lot of trouble. It was painful for me to maintain our small apartment and to do necessary errands. I received several osteopathic treatments and wore corrective shoes. One day someone told me about her healing in Christian Science and invited me to a Christian Science lecture. Soon I asked a Christian Science practitioner to help me through prayer. The full healing took place gradually during a period of much spiritual growth. I have enjoyed walking freely and normally for years now.
Another of my healings was that of insomnia. Before this healing, many times I felt as though I would collapse because I had gone several nights without sleep. However, I stood firm spiritually. I prayerfully insisted that God is my strength and that "in him we live, and move, and have our being" (Acts 17:28). The insomnia was completely overcome.
