Within—not "out there"
Many struggle their whole lifetime seeking healing from some mysterious "outside." Outside situations, many times, express good; however, the actual source of this good is God. Because man is God's image, our true being right this very moment includes all that is good. Through our awaking to the kingdom within, wonderful things begin to happen—accomplishment, service to mankind and individual development, success in one's chosen activity or profession. Healing in every direction begins to come to light.
Did you ever cut a gladiolus bulb through? There is the tiny plant. It is within, not "out there." It comes from within to blossom fully at its right season. Likewise with every one of us. There is the nucleus of right and productive ideas to bring to fulfillment, but it is from within—not "out there" to be captured in some mysterious manner.
The familiar statement of the Master, Christ Jesus, that God's kingdom is within has much to tell us if pondered deeply. He said, "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21. It would seem that almost everyone is seeking this very desirous kingdom somewhere "out there," not knowing the exact location or the content.
