Children of one God—a good God!
From Poole, Dorset, in England to Lake Stevens, Washington, and Scott Depot, West Virginia, in the United States—in fact, from all around the globe—there are children who are willing to be counted as followers of Christ Jesus. These young people are learning that the power of God heals. But even more, they are proving it for themselves.
The article for children that follows this editorial section includes several firsthand examples. It is not only written for children, it's written by children. They love God, and their direct, genuine expressions of gratitude offer a bright spot in a world that so often seems to be a place of lost innocence and unanswered hopes.
It's encouraging to read these accounts of "everyday" healings, particularly when there are those in society today who would deny that prayer can be truly effective or reliable in caring for children. And there are those who would even attempt to deny young people the right to turn to spiritual means for healing.
