FOR CHILDREN
"I love you, Daddy"
Seth had had it. It was hot outside, and he had been playing all afternoon. Now, some of the bigger boys down the block wanted him to play, but Seth didn't like to because they were very rough. To make matters worse, his dad was working in the yard and wasn't paying any attention to him. Seth really wanted to play with him. They lived very far away from each other, and when Seth came to visit there was never enough time to be with Dad.
Suddenly Seth cried out, "I hate you, Daddy!" Dad looked at him, startled. "Whatever for?"
Dad couldn't figure out why Seth would say he hated him when they had played together so nicely that morning. Even though he wasn't finished with his work, Dad decided to find out what the problem was.
