Oh, how great is God's goodness!
In July 1980 I was quickly healed in a wonderful way of a double fracture of the skull base, which I had incurred in a fall. I live alone and was unconscious when someone found me after the fall. So I was taken to the hospital, where I remained unconscious for two days. When I regained consciousness, I asked that an acquaintance, who is a Christian Scientist, be notified. At my request this friend immediately telephoned a Christian Science practitioner and asked her to help me through prayer.
The day following the call to the practitioner, I was sitting up in bed doing crossword puzzles. A nurse reproached me and said that I would have to lie completely flat for about six weeks.
