I am most thankful for all the healings I have had through my study of Christian Science. The first was of a growth in my breast that had made me very fearful.
At the time of this healing I was not a Christian Scientist, although I was the organist at a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. Every week I heard testimonies of healing given at the Wednesday testimony meeting, and I was most impressed. So I got in touch with a Christian Science practitioner, who gave me loving, prayerful support. One of the things she shared with me was Hymn No. 195 from the Christian Science Hymnal. I read this hymn, pondered it, sang it, played it, and thoroughly imbibed the spirit of its wonderful words. Especially meaningful was the first verse:
