How grateful I am to God, our Father-Mother, infinite Love...
How grateful I am to God, our Father-Mother, infinite Love, who with His eternal grace guides and cares for us.
Toward the end of September 1983, I was knocked down by a car. Passers-by were quick to help me and to offer advice, including the suggestion that X-rays should be taken. After I had assured them that I would be all right, I was taken to the home of a friend. I remained there for half an hour, then returned to my own home.
There were large hematomas on my body, and I was in much pain. But at the same time I felt an inner joy, a great peace. I cannot really describe this joy. I felt that I was embraced in the arms of divine Love, and I held fast to my unshakable confidence in God as my ever-present physician. I did not have X-rays taken or use any kind of medicine. Instead I relied entirely on God, and I asked a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me.
