Feet washing
Think back a moment. When was the last time you washed a disciple's feet?
Or, perhaps more to the point, when was the last time someone washed yours?
When I was a child in the Christian Science Sunday School, one of the first Biblical stories that made a deep impression on me was the one about Christ Jesus washing the feet of his disciples. When the quotation was read, "If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet," John 13:14. it all but horrified me.
