How wonderful it is that divine Love tenderly removes all...
How wonderful it is that divine Love tenderly removes all our fears! Through the years I've learned not to fear challenges because they have forced me to think more scientifically, more absolutely—to align thought more closely with the spiritual truths of being as found in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Overcoming challenges has strengthened me and steadied my course Spiritward.
At one point a growth developed on my face. Well-meaning friends suggested I have the growth removed surgically, but I was not tempted to follow this course. I knew that the power of God had healed me before and it would do so always. Study of Christian Science led me to this statement in Retrospection and Introspection by Mrs. Eddy (p. 94): "When all fleshly belief is annihilated, and every spot and blemish on the disk of consciousness is removed, then, and not till then, will immortal Truth be found true, and scientific teaching, preaching, and practice be essentially one."
