FOR CHILDREN
On the way to the bus stop
Cody's first day of kindergarten had been fun. He liked his new teacher, and he told his mom all about the car with no wheels on the playground. And tomorrow was going to be really special. He was going to ride the school bus for the very first time. He talked about it all through dinner, his eyes twinkling at the thought of it.
But the next morning Cody burst into tears. He said he was scared. He didn't know anyone at the bus stop. And the bus was so big and school so far away from home.
"Oh, Cody, I know," Mom said. "Why don't we talk about some of the ideas you've been learning in Sunday School?"
