No friction in Mind
Rubbing together two material objects causes friction. But in Christian Science we learn—and prove to the degree of our individual understanding—that the true universe is not material. It is spiritual. Then, how does one deal with the concept of friction—a material force that belongs in the category of illusion or non-Truth?
Specifically, what about frictions between people? These discords are also part of the so-called material universe.
Christian Science teaches that God is Mind, and since there is only one God, there can be only one Mind. In Science and Health Mrs. Eddy states, "Adhesion, cohesion, and attraction are properties of Mind." Science and Health, p. 124.
