God's doers

It's fun to give presents. Have you ever thought of giving presents of prayer to your family and friends? If you know how to pray, and then use the thoughts your Father-Mother God gives you, you can help other people. When you do something because of an idea you get from God, you might think of yourself as God's doer.

Now, the best God's doer who ever walked on earth was Christ Jesus. He loved God's children with the same love God has for them. He expressed the Christ-love. This Christ is the true idea of God and heals the sick. In the Bible, Mark tells us that when Christ Jesus was alone by himself, praying, "angels ministered unto him." See Mark 1:12, 13. Jesus always listened for God's thoughts, and he was able to heal all kinds of sickness and misery.

Mrs. Eddy, the woman who discovered Christian Science, felt God's love when she was writing Science and Health. This whole book is a gift of prayer because Mrs. Eddy listened to God for everything she wrote down. Her book shows us how to know what is true, and how to live and heal the way Christ Jesus did. Some of God's doers are people who use what they learn about praying and giving from the Christian Science textbook.
