A patient's prayer

MARCEIL RUTH DeLACY

Dear God,
I pray
to do my part,
to listen
with a humble heart,
to know my place
within Your plan,
to see myself
as perfect man.

I pray to yield
and not resist
Your Word—
then to go out
and live
the truth I've heard.
