Friday I had a spelling test
Friday I had a spelling test. My mother had told me not to just memorize the words but to use what I was learning in Christian Science Sunday School. So when I was spelling a word I was saying
Father-Mother good, lovingly
Thee I seek,—
Patient, meek,
In the way Thou hast,—
Be it slow or fast,
Up to Thee.
(Poems by Mary Baker Eddy, p.69.)
