Our real estate and the divine economy
Real estate problems can be solved as readily as those involving physical difficulties or moral faults. Christ Jesus' concise prescription for prayer is as correct today as when it was uttered centuries ago: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matt. 6:33.
The great Teacher pointed out that God's kingdom is within us (see Luke 17:20, 21). It is revealed by replacing the material sense testimony with Christianly scientific logic. Reasoning from the premise that Mind is a synonym of God, we will conclude His kingdom and righteousness to be Mind and its expression of ideas. Ideas are the real substance behind those things added.
Mrs. Eddy corroborates the Master's recognition of the kingdom in her description of man, part of which reads: "He is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas...." Science and Health, p. 475.
