Have you prayed today?
What do you do with your time every day?
Play an instrument? Sew? Or make things with clay?
Perhaps you play soccer or like to read books.
Some people are dancers or poets or cooks.
What helps you improve at the things that you do?
There's one eight-letter word I can think of, can you?
It's practice, of course, and you really can do it;
to do a job well you must put your thoughts to it.
Now, praying's a thing that you live, not just say;
it's a good thing to do and work at each day!
But how do you learn this thinking called prayer?
You can start by declaring that God's everywhere.
