What are angels and what do they do?
(written at age 9)
The Bible tells us that angels bring good news like the birth of Christ Jesus. Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health that these angels are "God's thoughts passing to man." Science and Health, p. 581; Angels are not both good and evil, they are only good.
Angels always bring joy, happiness, and love, not evil. Angels tell you that you are perfect, not sick. Angels protected Daniel in the lions' den and can protect you too.
I was inspired to write this article by a healing I had. I wasn't feeling well, and I couldn't walk very far without my head hurting. This went on for four days, and even though my family were praying for me, the angel thought came to me that I should pray for myself. I read Psalm 23 from the Bible, and in Science and Health I looked up where Mrs. Eddy describes man as "God's spiritual idea, individual, perfect, eternal." ibid., p. 115. After this I was quickly healed, and from then on I've always tried to listen for angel thoughts to guide me.
When you listen to angels, much love and healing will come to you.
