Turning threats into promises
When volatile world situations threaten, many people turn to prayer. Prayer that finds the applicable laws of God is a determining factor in restoring order, or finding a higher order. Sometimes one already is praying specifically in an area so germane to the world situation that he doesn't need to know much of the detail of that situation.
For example, one may have been praying for greater family harmony, rejoicing in relevant spiritual truths: that man is the very evidence of concordant being; that everything going on in divine reality is the spontaneous expression of God's order; and that there is nothing external to God and His universe to interrupt this harmonious unfoldment.
Obviously, these truths are universal and bring specific laws of God to bear on the world situation as well as on personal problems. In fact, this is a joy of working out one's problems through scientific prayer: the solution blesses the whole world.
