We are all on the same side
We're always taking sides, aren't we? Most of us have our favorite teams in sports, our favorite candidate for public office, a definite position on an issue in church, business, or school. It seems normal and natural to take sides in controversial situations.
But what if ill will becomes evident in the process? Often petty squabbles erupt in a game; public figures become vindictive toward one another, and deep-seated hostilities threaten to divide and destroy valuable organizations. Many times in the history of mankind the horrifying extreme of disagreement has been a devastating war.
But the situation isn't hopeless. There is, however, a solution to such bitter rifts. The remedy is concisely and meaningfully stated in the Bible: "Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us?" Mal. 2:10;
