Hay fever dispelled by Love
As a widow with two small children, I had just remarried but was having trouble adjusting to my new life. I was depressed and even had thoughts of suicide. A neighbor came to visit one day, and I told her how hopeless I felt. She said, "You need Christian Science." She went home and returned with a pamphlet on this healing Science for me to read.
Reading the pamphlet had such a peace-giving effect on me that I wanted to know more about Science. I began to study the Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly, and soon my neighbor began taking me with her to church, where I enrolled my children in Sunday School. There was a drastic change for the better in our whole family. I began putting into practice the truths I was learning of God and my relationship to Him. It was especially helpful to learn that God is Love and that since I am in reality His reflection, I express His love. This made me more loving toward all the members of my family.
