Deep gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, the Way -shower, and for Mrs. Eddy and her inspired writings impels me to relate some healings that have occurred since my testimony was published in the Sentinel of August 17, 1968.

An instantaneous healing I had about two years ago continues to be an inspiration and a spur to me for deeper study of the textbooks of Christian Science, the Bible, and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. While attending a committee meeting at our branch church, I began to feel ill. Before I left home I had felt uncomfortable but decided to support the church activity by being present. As the meeting progressed, my discomfort increased, and it became necessary for me to excuse myself. As I entered the women's room, I was overcome with extreme nausea and felt I was losing consciousness. With great difficulty I made my way to a telephone in the foyer to ask a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. Her cheerful voice assured me that all was well and that God was my help. She agreed to pray for me. I had been ready to submit to the nausea, but within a few minutes I regained my composure and sense of well-being and returned to the meeting completely free.

Recently, through my own prayers, I was freed of a painful condition in one of my feet. Through the day I had felt increasing soreness in the large toe. Upon removing my shoe, I found the toe was swollen and discolored. Immediately I turned to my Bible and Science and Health to reread the Lesson-Sermon on the subject "Man" in the Christian Science Quarterly.
