Legalized gambling is a major industry in the city where I live. I began to be drawn to the slot machines and keno tickets. I started to play them in a small way, thinking I was not doing any harm by spending such a small amount of money, and it seemed such fun. When I joined the local branch Church of Christ, Scientist, I told the executive board members of my attraction—that I wished I didn't think it fun, but that I spent such a small amount of money it didn't seem important.
I am cured of the desire to gamble
