As a child I lived in constant fear that no one liked me
A Christ-cure for the addict! This Christianly scientific method includes moral regeneration, fresh aspirations, genuine rebirth. The following testimonies, all firsthand accounts, tell of lives transformed—lives lifted out of drug use, alcoholism, gambling, and the use of medicines.
As a child I lived in constant fear that no one liked me. I grew up in a well-to-do family believing that how I looked and felt physically was all there was to life. Turning to alcohol and drugs in search of success and happiness, I spent fifteen unpleasant years, finally ending up in several state mental institutions. I had lost family, friends, health, home, considerable wealth, and the ability to care for or about myself. I had reached a point where I did not know right from wrong and was merely trying to survive.
