Rejoicing before the rain
The day seemed like many we had had recently. Numerous clouds hung in the sky, and yet no rain came. But today I noticed something different: birdsong filled the air! The birds were singing as if they were expressing gratitude for the rain, which was not yet evident. I was reminded of their singing when some time later I looked out and saw a small bird fluffing his feathers during a rain bath.
Often we rejoice when a healing has taken place or when a problem has been overcome. But do we always remember to rejoice and accept truth when we seem to be in the middle of a problem?
