No pegs in holes
Man is not in a restricted slot. He expresses divine Mind's unbounded nature. Mind does not confine its manifestation.
Man reflects Mind's infinite activity. Applying this truth to our own lives, we see that there are uncounted opportunities for Mind's action to be shown forth. Not in a predetermined and circumscribed corner, but in wide, horizonless avenues.
While Christian Science clearly explains that each one of us reflects God's allness in a unique and individual way, it also shows us that all the qualities of Deity are bestowed on us, whatever our special area of expression. The ballet dancer may never need or want to become a trapeze artist. Yet both draw upon unlimited resources of strength, control, and activity demanded by their specific skills. And each can confidently expect to express those qualities in a wide spectrum of circumstances.
