Christian Science Mind-healing
Note the capital M in this title. It denotes the divine Mind, God, not the human mind, which in Christian Science is invariably written with a small m.
Christian Science healing takes place through God—through the power of divine Mind—not by means of the manipulation of the human mind. It is the result of our acknowledging the truth of universal, spiritual good, and the supremacy of the divine law of harmony. It comes from uniting our thought with divine consciousness, not from rearranging false, mortal thoughts to make them conform to a pattern that is believed by human beings to be normal and healthy.
The power of the divine Mind to heal human discords is undeniable. During the past century evidence has accumulated to show that when our mentality is spiritualized—when we drop mortal beliefs and fears and unite instead with the divine consciousness, bearing witness to the harmony of God's creation as the present and only reality of being—healing must occur. This is the method of Christian Science healing, a method that is quite distinct from the various mortal mind methods currently attracting so much attention.
