I have never written a testimony, but I must not delay longer
I have never written a testimony, but I must not delay longer. I first heard of Christian Science in 1913 from the young lady who became my wife in June of the following year, and we are still together now.
I appreciate the ability to apply my understanding of Christian Science as a preventive measure against sickness of any kind, and also to meet any and all contingencies for a full and satisfactory life. However, when I have a problem that does not yield to my own understanding and prayer, I request a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me, and the needs have always been met.
About a year ago I was troubled with a pain in the left side of my back that was not responding to my own treatment. While I was attending the Sunday morning service in our branch Church of Christ, Scientist, the pain disappeared. Shortly afterward I noticed my right eye appeared to be very red. That condition was also healed while I was attending another Sunday service.
