. . .an aid to one who prays
Anyone whose goal in daily prayer is to bring to bear on the world's problems the power of God needs the help of a news source designed specifically for the purpose. The Christian Science Monitor is such a newspaper.
Consider for a moment what one does when he prays. The prayer Christ Jesus gave us begins with a humble acknowledgment of God as the Father of all. Thus it expresses a desire to see God's supremacy in all that humans are conscious of: "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."Matt. 6:10;
How great today is the need for more than a someday faith that God's power will govern man! God is the creator of all that is real, and His creation must be proved, demonstrated, to be the real. People need to know that prayer is effective. Then they will begin to understand God's creation. And the more they understand it, the more earnestly they will pray.
