True Love's Healing or False Sympathy's Bog?
Mesmerism describes what happens when we meet someone we like and, under the guise of love, start carrying around his problems. You know this mesmerism is present if you get trapped into giving unwanted advice or helping in wrong ways.
Shouldn't we help someone we love?
Of course. But if you can't get your attention off someone else's problems, you may find that before you know it, instead of helping him, you're helping the trouble. Is that love?
