We Did It on the Way to School!
Alison: Deirdre and I live next door to each other. We are in the same Sunday School class, too. She is in seventh grade, and I am in eighth grade, so I pick her up on the way to the junior high every day.
Deirdre: One morning I woke up with what seemed to be a very bad headache. I told my mother, and she said, "Now, you know this isn't true of you," and gave me some specific Christian Science truths to remember. I wasn't sure if I would be able to make it through a day of school, but I decided that I wouldn't let the headache, which I knew had no real power, keep me from being in my right place.
Alison: When I came to pick her up that morning, Deirdre's mother asked if I could do some praying about this with her on the way to school. I told her I would. Deirdre got her bicycle, and we started off.
