The Logic of Knowing What God Knows

When the symptoms of disease present themselves, we can ask, "What does God know about this?" And if we understand something of God's nature, we can answer the question. Perhaps at first our answer will be one of good human logic: God is good; disease is evil; therefore disease symptoms are not of God. God is All; what is not of Him is nonexistent; therefore disease is unreal.

As we employ this logic and combine it with a fervent desire to understand God, our thought is lifted to a higher logic. We become conscious of the actuality of God's allness and goodness. We can spiritually feel the substance of His goodness, and we can sense that He knows us as His ideas. He knows all there is to know of us, and it is all in Himself, all perfect, pure, beautiful, whole. We understand. And we are healed.

The problem is how to move, in our thinking, from human logic to spiritual consciousness. We have to do much more than assert that God is Mind and man is Mind's idea. And we have to do more than say we are ideas of Mind. We have to realize these truths. And there is a Science that is given to us for this purpose — Christian Science.
