God Cares for You, Too!
Each year the arrival of bleak, cold winter days announces the return of the wild birds. They come back again from the woods to look for food around our homes.
Daniel loved the return of the wild birds. He liked to keep count of all the different kinds that visited his garden in England. There were blue tits, great tits, marsh tits, blackbirds, nuthatches, woodpeckers, and many others. He loved to spend some of his pocket money on buying peanuts and wild bird food for them, all of which they enjoyed — especially the peanuts.
Daniel liked to think of the birds as his friends, because they gave him so much pleasure. He loved to think about God protecting and caring for them all. He had learned in the Christian Science Sunday School that God lovingly cares for all His ideas.
