On page 365 of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, we read, "If the Scientist reaches his patient through divine Love, the healing work will be accomplished at one visit, and the disease will vanish into its native nothingness like dew before the morning sunshine."
I had a proof of this in the spring of 1932. Medical help had failed to heal me of a serious heart ailment. A friend advised me to visit a Christian Science practitioner. I went with a very heavy burden, and could walk only with the aid of a stick. The practitioner greeted me with a loving smile and listened patiently to my tale of woe.
Then she said, "Do you believe in God?"
