I became interested in Christian Science as a young girl about seventeen years old, and I have had many proofs of protection for the past fifty-one years.
My first healing was that of quinsy. I called for the help of a Christian Science practitioner in the evening. The next morning when I had gotten no apparent relief, the practitioner came to my home to see me, although there was much objection by my family to my relying on Christian Science. Before the practitioner left our home, the abscess broke. I had a complete healing and was able to return to work on Monday morning. On the occasions of similar, previous attacks I was home two or three weeks.
I am also grateful for the beautiful, painless experience at the births of both my children, who were born at home. The loving care of a Christian Science nurse meant much at those times.
