My parents were wonderfully led to Christian Science many years ago at a time when death seemed imminent for my brother, who was a few months old. It was also feared that my mother could not live. My father's aunt learned of this prognostication and brought our family Christian Science, which healed the baby and restored my mother. Both of them were healed in less than two weeks' time. Therefore my parents in their gratitude turned unquestioningly to this religion, depending upon it in every way, and our needs were always met.

As a child, I had many proofs of God's tender care and love, and I wish to express gratitude for the Sunday School teachers I had. My most outstanding healing in my youth took place as follows. For a number of years I was subject to stomach trouble, and my mother and I would pray together when these attacks came. Then one day, when I had to vomit, a small tumor was ejected; and this was the end of those attacks.

After my marriage during the depression, my husband and I had to cling to the fact that God, not a material employer, was our source of supply. We knew that God gives right ideas and that these in turn give us supply. Time and again we proved this ever-present truth, and our needs were always quickly met, whatever they seemed to be.
