Life Obtained of Truth
All being is mental, not physical. Existence is in consciousness; it is not in a material body. The real Mind is God, Spirit, so true being is spiritual.
We certainly cannot get life from matter or mortal mind. Mortal mind is that which believes in matter, but matter of itself does not see, hear, feel, or act; matter is not substance; it is not real. So if what mortal mind believes is substance is found to be unreal, mortal mind itself is uncovered as a supposition; it is nothing.
As one thinks from the standpoint of the allness of Spirit, he receives of Spirit, Mind, the joyous, harmonious, and real sense of being. And since Mind, Spirit, is Life, we truly live as we reflect Life, as we entertain the loving, spiritual thoughts that Mind, Spirit, imparts. The realization of Life as all-harmonious Spirit dispels the false beliefs that the material senses try to get us to accept. Anything unlike harmonious Life has to disappear as we receive from Mind, Spirit, the true sense of life. And the wonder of it is that Life is ever giving life, is ever causing us to be aware of Life as perfect. To be consciously aware of this fact, we have to open the door of our thought by knowing what is true of God and man and by being loving, pure, and upright.
