SPEAKER: Probably most of us have known people who go through life with "a chip on the shoulder," as the saving goes.
"The natural fruits of Christian Science Mind-healing are harmony, brotherly love, spiritual growth and activity.
When
Christian Science was introduced to me, I was in great need of healing, both of physical difficulties and of many fears that held me in bondage to such an extent I had become completely discouraged.
At
a time when I was working in New Orleans, Louisiana, a skin condition developed on my hands which caused me much suffering, and my arms and legs became very swollen.
Christian Science
did not come into my family because of a need for the healing of sickness, but was brought to us by dear relatives who evidently wanted to do us some kindness.
At
a time when I was experiencing a great sense of grief because of the passing on of a loved sister and when I had only part-time work and my marriage had ended in a separation from my husband, I accepted Christian Science.
When
I was a young girl, my parents separated, and I was pushed out of the home and told that I had been unwanted.
For
many years I had an earnest desire to learn more of God and to find out why there should be two creations spoken of in the book of Genesis.
As
long as I can remember I have tried to be a Christian and do what I thought was right, but I was never quite sure that I understood the Bible.
