In deep gratitude to God for His love, which led me to Christian Science, and for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I should like to testify to a healing which occurred in 1948.

I became ill with pleurisy and asked for medical treatment. After two weeks an examination indicated that I had developed tuberculosis in one of my lungs. For a while I was overcome by great fear. Then I thought that perhaps I could obtain help through Christian Science, and I went to a practitioner. The practitioner saw my distress and in a few loving words made clear the unreality of a tubercular condition, thus dispelling my fear once and for all.

From that moment, in spite of the medical observation which was prescribed by law, I felt confident that divine Love alone would heal me, and I earnestly studied Christian Science. Following a short stay in England, I went to Africa, where after two months, at my mother's request, I underwent another examination. The result was most encouraging. Not a single scar or other trace could be found to show that there had formerly been a tubercular condition.

For this healing, the accompanying spiritual progress, and many subsequent blessings, I am extremely grateful. It is my one desire constantly to progress in the understanding of our infinite Father-Mother God.—(Mrs.) Ursula V. Prince, Windhoek, Southwest Africa.
